Wooing for Malawi’s BBA reps

Listen to this article

With the launch of Big Brother Africa: The Chase, it seems everyone has something to say. It has become the most popular topic on social networks like Facebook and Twitter. Sadly, most of the opinions have been negative, with everyone trying to take a swipe at Malawi’s representatives, Fatima Nkata and Natasha Tonthola.

BBA is an international platform for people to be themselves and promote all that they are and that surely should not be a problem.

Malawi has never had anyone win the popular reality show although Hazel Warren has made it to the last two.

From observations Fatima has exhibited withdrawal and quietness to her advantage and revealed she has been assessing other housemates in the process.

Fatima said Monday during her Diary session that she has a game plan and strategy to employ in the game after the first eviction.

“It is time for game plan; it is time to get rid of the threats. From now on, I will change my game plan and fight my emotions. Instead of eliminating those people I do not get on well with or I do not expect to get on well with, as a game player, I will have to get rid of the strong players who are threats to my game,” she said.

When Biggie dug more out of her to specifically name some threats, the she did not hesitate to mention Kenya’s Annabel, Tanzania’s Feza and Motamma from Botswana. She went ahead to make it clear that she will eliminate whomever she thinks to be a threat to her game.

Natasha on the other hand is bubbly and bright and could go all the way. She is a strong contender who does not hide but rather show her true colours.

She has managed to pick fights with several of her housemates over really petty issues and seems to be getting fond of Biguessas the Angolan.

However, could that be her strategy? Only time will tell.

Luckily, both Natasha and Fatima have not been nominated this week but it is up to Malawians to vote for our representatives when up for eviction.
